Motionographer approached us and asked if we would like to be involved in promotional material for the 2021 Motion Awards. Duncan DeMichiel and Mirra Macdonald, and I were lucky enough to be able to work on a piece for them. This short animation shows a triangle, that represents striving artists, traveling through a simplistic and abstract world, which represents their journey through the industry. The animation ends with the triangle leaping off a cliff to lock into the Motion Awards Logo. This represents their leap of faith submitting their work for the Awards hoping for a great payoff. I was in charge of designing the frames and helping with the concept. I worked with Kelly Warner on a custom audio track. Duncan and I also worked together on finalizing the lighting of each scene.
